Next Meeting - Sunday, April 15, 12:00PM, Forest Lake VFW 

Chapter Election results - At our March meeting, we voted on officers for 2007.  Mike Lundeen (President), Pam Johnson (Vice President), Pam Braastad (Treasurer), and Rick Mallinger (Chapter Representative) each ran unopposed and retained their positions.  Cindy Lundeen was elected to the position Secretary, replacing Marlene Bergum who stepped down after completing her term. 

For Sgt @ Arms, we elected two new members to replace Don Knafla and Tim Braastad, both who retired after serving our chapter during this past year.  New Sgts are Jamie Steele and Lance Wascher.  Bryce Wolkerstorfer and John Skogman retained their positions as Sgts. 

Please congratulate our new officers/Sgts - Cindy, Jamie and Lance and extend your thanks to Marlene, Tim, and Don for serving our chapter so well during the past year!  New officers begin their positions immediately.

Mardi Gras Festivel - Our winter fundraiser was a great success!   By car, truck and even snowmobile, party goers plowed through blizzard conditions to collect beads, enjoy free food and beer, listen to some great entertainment, win a few prizes, and mingle among chapter members and guests.  We are in the process of finalizing bills, etc. and plan to report final results at the April meeting.  Thanks to the Fundraiser Committee for all of their hard work and to all those that attended our first annual Mardi Gras Festivel!  Thank you also to our great supporters that donated the many prizes that were given away.

Meeting Date Change - At our March meeting, we voted to move the date of the April Chapter meeting to April 15th.  Ordinarily, the Chapter meets on the second Sunday of each month.  Since Easter falls on April 8 this year, members voted to change the meeting date to April 15.  Mark your calendar and plan to join us!
